Faces of Pride Returns with Fresh Vision at Key City Theatre

Key City Theatre is proud to present the third annual Faces of Pride exhibition, opening Thursday, June 5, to kick off Cranbrook’s Pride celebrations. This year’s show introduces a new creative direction, featuring the artistic talents of Stephanie Moore and Morgan Turner.

Building on the success of previous years, the 2025 exhibition expands its focus to include not only 2SLGBTQIA+ community members but also allies—highlighting the shared spirit of inclusion, visibility, and solidarity. Through a powerful series of 21 portraits, Moore and Turner capture the individuality and humanity of 21 unique people whose stories reflect the diverse heart of Pride in Cranbrook.

“This project has always been about visibility, belonging, and joy,” says Galen Olstead, Executive Director of Key City Theatre. “With Stephanie and Morgan at the helm, we’re seeing a beautiful expansion of what that joy can look like. It’s moving, it’s personal, and it’s filled with heart.”

The opening reception begins at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, and promises an evening of connection and celebration, with music, whimsical décor, and a selection of appetizers and desserts. Guests will have a chance to meet the artists and portrait participants and share in the energy of the weekend’s launch.

Following the opening, the Faces of Pride portraits will remain on display at Key City Theatre throughout June. In July and August, the exhibition will continue through the community as part of the Faces of Pride Art Walk, with portraits featured at various local venues.
