This event will showcase our local food systems folks, and the movie will shine a light on the important work happening in Indigenous Food Sovereignty in Northern BC to help inspire community-based food systems and connection to the land. “Against the backdrop of colonization and the climate crisis, Indigenous food sovereignty activist Jacob Beaton sets out to revive the abundance that once defined Turtle Island.”
