Dive into the vibrant world of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with "Faces of Pride," an art exhibition that showcases the diverse faces and voices of local members through the stunning portraits by Joel Robison. This exhibition is a journey into the lives and stories of those who colour our world with their authenticity and courage.

Celebration and Public Party: Join us on June 6 for a grand celebration at Key City Theatre, featuring live performances that promise an evening of laughter, inspiration, and profound connections. The event kicks off with the mesmerizing photo exhibit by Joel Robison, capturing the essence of our local heroes.

Featured Performances:

  • Laura Piccinin: Laugh and learn with Laura in her autobiographical stand-up show, “LESBIHONEST.” A queer comedian with a flair for telling eccentric stories, Laura's performance is a hilarious and heartfelt ride through her life’s adventures and musings.

  • Bella Cat: Experience the electrifying energy of Bella Cat, a soul singer whose voice resonates with the raw power of legends like Tina Turner and Amy Winehouse. Bella’s performance blends soul, RnB, and more, ensuring an unforgettable musical journey.

This event is a celebration of life, diversity, and the arts. Come dressed in your vibrant best, ready to explore, engage, and enjoy an evening dedicated to the spirit of pride. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the community, "Faces of Pride" offers everyone a chance to connect and celebrate the rich tapestry of human experiences.

Bella Cat

BELLA CAT is a sensational creator that the world needs to discover. Her performances and writing techniques are raw and dynamic. Her remarkable concerts leave the audience thrilled, with goosebumps, and in tears of fulfillment. Bella released her 3rd album in June of 2023 and has four new songs coming out this year. 

Setting the scene all the way back into the 1970s with her raspy soulful voice her new take on soul music will blow you away! Adding notes of RnB, hip-hop, blues, funk, and even pop music Bella has been described as a versatile soul singer.

Widely known in North America after nine cross-Canada tours and with her performance on Hollywood BLVD, a concert at the International Jazz Fest in Haiti, appearances on Canada's TV show The Voice (LA VOIX), and her most recent concert in Costa Rica it has made her an international artist.

Her high energy performances are described as a futuristic soul show, her voice has been compared to Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and Etta James by multiple media sources like CBC, Les 7 Jours, Rogers, Ottawa Magazine, Pap Jazz, Metro News, The Low Down and more. You can expect Bella’s live shows to include a full band, costumes, special guest singers, and sometimes drag artists or dancers depending on the event. 


Laura Piccinin

Award-winning Queer comedian Laura Piccinin takes audiences on a hilarious out and proud ride in her autobiographical stand-up show, “LESBIHONEST”.

Whether as a dancer/aerialist with Tokyo Disney, a playwright and performer for the new Canadian musicals, “Every Silver Lining” and “Apothecary” as a comédienne in “Footloose” with Just for Laughs, or with her solo shows, “LESBIHONEST”, “GO”, and “The Suicide Key”, Laura’s unstoppable passion in life lies in telling people all sorts of eccentric stories, whether they want to hear them or not.
